I LOVE this picture of Diana's 4 Arabians!...they are so beautiful when they run, play and chase each other. This is the view from the new guest house living room! It really is heaven on earth there!
So, this is MY BEAUTIFUL horse "Sabi".....ok, so I just basically stole him from Diana...and like the true friend that she is, she is just fine with this!..... I can remember the first time I met Sabi, it was at Diana and Pierre's home in Agua Dulce in Southern Calif. about 8 years ago. I went to visit Diana, and of course we were outside "playing dog show", when all of a sudden I realized she had 3 horses about 20 yards away from me!!!! WHAT...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! HORSES!...I have ALWAYS WANTED A HORSE, ever since I was a little girl!!!!!!!!... so, Diana took me over to meet the 3 boys Tahoe, Sabi, and Ali'i, 3 Beautiful Arabians. I was in heaven. I really can't remember which horse came over to me first, all I do know is, I had my head turned looking in a different direction, when all of a sudden I felt this warm, fuzzy, hot breath on my shoulder....YES, it was Sabi!.....he came right over to me and rest his head on my shoulder. I have never felt such a connection with such a big animal before, he might as well have been a puppy!.....well, ever since that day...it has been love!
Now Sabi lives on 25 acres in Auburn, pure heaven! He looks so happy with his little horse family....Tahoe the leader!!!, then second in command is Sabi, Aura, mommy to be!, then comes the very sweet and pretty Ali"i with his 2 hind white socks. I got to visit my dear Sabi this past weekend, I really don't know if he remembers me, but I want to think he does, it's the way he looks right into my eyes with those BIG BROWN eyes of his, almost like he is saying..."Move up here, so I can see you everyday". Oh MAYBE someday My Dear Sabi...SOMEDAY!!!!!!!!
