Here is my little "bait bag" that my Grandmother sewed for me, I recently found this in a box, I know all you Collie breeders out there are getting a kick out of this!!!!! I thought I was ready for the "Westminister Dog Show" with this on!!!! LOL!!!!! 
This is a picture of my first Collie "Tara", I was 7 years old when my dream finally came true!!!!!.........I got a Collie! My uncle, Mom and Dad surprised me one day. I can remember taking a drive to the breeder's house and as we pulled up the driveway...there at the gate were 2 big sable and white male colllies, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. We went inside and all the adults talked, I was in a fog state of mind, then she, the breeder, led us all out to the backyard...and there to greet me was a litter of 6 week old collie puppies, and their Dam. I remember seeing this one little sable/white female with a full white collar (of course at the time I wanted a full white collar like Lassie), I don't remember much after that except all the adults talking and making some deals. Yes, shortly after that I got to take her home. We named her "Tara" and she was my first show dog!!!
Here pictured with my mom after winning "Winner's". Tara never had too much of a show career, a couple of years later she was stolen out of our yard, never to be found again. This is dedicated to you my sweet "Tara" she started it all!!!
